Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to rise to become above average from 3 to 5 degrees as the country is affected by superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be hot and clear in general, while the wind will be westerly with a low to moderate speed in the coastal areas and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be in Damascus 33/16, Daraa 34/19, Homs 32/20, Lattakia 30/21, Aleppo 36/22 and Deir Ezzor 42/27.
