Health Ministry: 22 new Coronavirus cases registered, two patients pass away

Damascus, SANA – The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 22 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have been recorded in Syria, and that two patients have recovered, while two others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry pointed out that the number of the registered Coronavirus cases in Syria reached 439, with 138 of the infected people having recovered and 21 passing away.

The first Coronavirus case in Syria was recorded on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first death caused by the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
