9035 new cases of coronavirus registered in Russia in past 24 hours

Capitals, SANA- The health authorities in Russia announced a decrease in the daily number of people infected with coronaviruses in the country by 2.2 percent, and the registration of 9035 new cases in the past 24 hours.

According to the latest official toll today, 162 people have died during the past hours, raising the death toll in Russia since the start of the coronavirus outbreak to 3,794 cases.

The number of coronavirus infections in different areas across Russia has risen to 414878.

The health authorities last day registered 2297 cases in the capital, Moscow, the most affected area by the virus, while 728 cases were registered in areas on the outskirts of Moscow, and 364 cases in the city of Petersburg, the second biggest city in the country.

In the city of Nizhny Novgorod, 315 cases were registered, and 283 cases in the Sverdlovsk region while 229 coronavirus cases were registered in the Irkutsk region.

For his part, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a live broadcast on Facebook today that the results of his test for the novel coronavirus was positive.

Pashinyan added “Although I don’t show any symptoms, I decided to make a test,” indicating that all of his family members are also infected.

Armenia, whose population is estimated at three million, has registered 9,402 confirmed cases.

For his part, Iran Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Saeed Namaki confirmed that the Coronavirus has not yet ended and it is likely that it will return stronger than before at any moment, so the necessary preparation must be made for the worst possibilities, noting that Iran has achieved great success in tackling the Coronavirus.

In Singapore, the Ministry of Health said today that 408 new cases of coronavirus have been detected, taking the total to 35,292 cases.

In the Philippines, millions of people returned to work in the capital, Manila today, with easing one of the most severe and longest public lockdown measures in the world.

The Philippines has registered 18,086 cases of the virus in total, including 957 deaths.

In Japan, the authorities announced the cancellation of hosting a round of the first MotoGP Grand Prix of Japan for the first time since 1986, after the organizers of the championship canceled the race, which will be held at the Japanese Motegi motorsport race track on the 18th of next October due to the crisis of Covid 19 virus, which is highly contagious.

The races of Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Britain and Australia had been canceled earlier, while the races of France, Italy and Catalonia were postponed to later dates.
