Syrian player Hind Zaza reaches the final of the West Asian table tennis qualifiers for the Paris Olympics

Baghdad, SANA- Our national table tennis player, Hend Zaza, has qualified for the final round of the West Asian qualifiers for Paris Olympics, currently being held in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah.

Zaza’s qualification came after her victory in the semi-finals over the Jordanian player, Taima Abu Yaman, with a score of 4-0, and she will meet in the final with the Lebanese player, Mariana Sahakian.

This is the second time that the West Asian region has been awarded two direct qualification cards after the Tokyo Olympics.
