Gas pipeline in Jeiroud area reopened after being shut off by terrorists

Damascus Countryside, SANA – The gas pipeline in Jeiroud area that the terrorist organizations shut off earlier today has been re-opened.

Director of the General Electricity Company of Damascus Countryside Khaldoun Heddeh said earlier that the terrorist organizations shut off the valve of the gas pipeline that supplies al-Nasseriyeh, Tishrin and Deir Ali power stations, causing the power plants to go out of service.

In his statement to SANA, Damascus Countryside Governor Alaa Ibrahim announced that gas has been pumped back to al-Nasseriyeh station the pipeline was reopened, noting that the reopening of the pipeline has been done thanks to the efforts of the Governorate and those of the authorities concerned and the “honorable” locals of the cities of Jeiroud and al-Riheiba.
