Hama, SANA – Hama Criminal Security Personnel arrested two gangs that promote for counterfeiting currency and exercise armed robbery in al-Andalos neighborhood and the bus station in Hama city.
A source at Hama Police Command told SANA Saturday that upon accurate information, a patrol of Criminal Security stormed into a den of a gang that counterfeits money in al-Andalos neighborhood, adding that two men and a woman who belong to the gang were arrested.
The source pointed out that the gang members confessed to committing many crimes including abduction and counterfeiting currency.
In a similar context, the source pointed out that a patrol of the Criminal Security arrested two members of theft and armed robbery gang in the Bus Station in the city, clarifying that a car having a forged panel was seized with them.
