Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi reiterated that the political solution is the only way for solving the crisis in Syria.
In a statement to Iranian News Agency IRNA on Friday, Qassemi said that Iran seriously followed up the issue of maintaining the safety of the innocent civilians, the returning of security and stability to all Syrian areas and the launching of an inter-Syrian dialogue as a strategy for solving the crisis, asserting that Iran still believes
that the political solution is the only option to end the crisis.
The Iranian diplomat pointed out that Iran exerts all efforts and holds extensive consultations to help civilians restore stability to Aleppo.
“In this context, we agreed to hold a tripartite meeting among foreign Ministers of Iran, Russia and Turkey in Moscow on December 27th to discuss situation in Syria.” Qassemi said.
