New batch of humanitarian aid arrives in Hasaka via aid bridge

Hasaka, SANA – A new batch of food and non-food aid provided by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) arrived at Qamishli Airport on Monday through the air bridge set up by the World Food Program (WFP) to deliver humanitarian aid to Hasaka province.

Director of the WFP Office in Qamishli Afra Nouh told SANA that the aid included 100 family tents, 2592 mattresses, 900 food packages, 900 bags of rice, and 450 packages of vegetable oil.

The air bridge will continue to deliver humanitarian aid from Damascus International Airport to Hasaka province till January 15th.
