Shoigu: Our military experience gained in Syria to be introduced into Russian military higher schools’ curriculum

Moscow, SANA_ Russia’s military experience gained during the anti-terrorist campaign in Syria will be promptly introduced into the curriculum of Russian military higher schools, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Friday.

Russia Today website quoted Shoigu as saying during a meeting of Commanders of the Russian Defense Ministry that a recent “training and methodological conference titled ‘ Military Education at the Service of Fatherland’ elaborated approaches towards promptly introducing the combat experience gained by the Aerospace Force and the Navy in Syria into the educational process, and also towards implementing modern instruction technologies,”

He added that the Defense Ministry will also incorporate the Syrian experience into Russia’s military school programs, noting that the main vectors of the military education program have been charted up to 2020.

On September 30, 2015, the Russian Aerospace Forces began a military operation at the request of the Syrian state to support the Syrian Arab Army in its fight against terrorism . The operation resulted in the destruction of thousands of the terrorists’ positions, various weapons and equipment , facilities for manufacturing shells, vehicles, cars and tankers transporting the stolen Syrian oil into the Turkish territories.
