Syria, Iran discuss cultural cooperation

Damascus, SANA- Chairman of the Arab Writers’ Union, Nidal al-Saleh discussed with Cultural Advisor in the Iranian Embassy in Damascus Mustafa al-Shirazi means of developing relations and enhancing cooperation between the union and the Embassy.

Al-Saleh said that the Union wants to translate the Syrian-Iranian deep-rooted relations through culture, proposing to hold a symposium about the Arabic manuscripts in Iran.

During the meeting, an emphasis was laid on the necessity of enhancing cultural cooperation between the Union and the Embassy and exchanging publications, books and delegations in a way that paves the way for further cultural cooperation between the two countries.
