Damascus, SANA – The People’s Assembly on Monday denounced the terrorist organizations’ attacks with toxic gasses on residential neighborhoods in Aleppo city.
Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hadiyeh Abbas said that the Assembly denounces these terrorists responsible for these attacks and those who support them, calling for holding accountable these criminals and their supporters and those who arm and fund them or provide them with political support.
She said that the battle for Aleppo waged by the Syrian Arab Army and its allies is a battle for Syria and the entire region, underlining the importance of Aleppo throughout history.
Abbas also saluted the martyrs who gave their lives in defense of Aleppo and saluted Aleppo’s steadfast people.
Terrorist organizations located in the eastern neighborhoods in Aleppo city fired on Sunday morning shells containing toxic materials at al-Hamadaniyeh neighborhood and al-Assad residential suburb, causing more than 35 cases of asphyxiation.
