New Delhi, SANA- Former Indian Ambassador to Syria Rajendra Abhyankar stressed that the United States is responsible for igniting the war in Syria, reiterating that it is only the Syrians themselves who can solve the crisis in their country.
In a statement to SANA correspondent in New Delhi on Sunday, Abhyankar stressed that the United States, through its behaviors, is unsatisfied with the political solution to the crisis in Syria and doesn’t want to find it despite that it has vital interests in reaching it.
The Indian diplomat pointed out that the European countries are unwilling to interfere to find a solution to the crisis in Syria despite that it will contribute in easing the effects of the crisis of the refugees, which Europe is suffering from.
