Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain above average by 2 to 4 degrees as the country is still affected by high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in
the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds are northwesterly of low speed, and the sea waves will be of low amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 30/15, Daraa 31/15, Homs 30/17, Hama 31/18, Lattakia 29/21, Aleppo 30/16 and Deir Ezzor 32/17.
