Beijing, SANA- Syria’s Ambassador in Beijing Imad Mustafa said on Friday that the Syrian-Chinese relations will witness a remarkable development during the upcoming phase.
Mustafa told Lebanese al-Mayadeen TV via telephone that the Chinese support to Syria increases and Beijing considers Syria as “a red line” and “it is not allowed to be collapsed.”
“The Chinese support to Syria is strategic, deep-rooted and continuous and it has never stopped since the beginning of the crisis in the country, and it was mainly featured in the UN Security Council, Mustafa added.
The Syrian Ambassador described the military relations between Syria and China as “old”, adding that both countries have a joint interest in combating global terrorism.
