Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will gradually rise to become 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The wind will be northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude, according to the bulletin.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/24, Daraa 37/24, Homs 36/23, Lattakia 35/25, Aleppo 38/24 and Deir Ezzor 43/27.
