Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain 5 to 9 degrees above average in most areas as the country is still affected by Indian low air pressure accompanied by high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin the weather will be hot in the mountainous and coastal areas with clear skies in general, while the weather will be very hot in the rest of the country and misty in the eastern and al-Badiya (desert) and al-Jazeera areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and is expected to be active in the afternoon and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 41/22, Daraa 40/23, Homs 39/25, Lattakia 30/23, Aleppo 41/23 and Deir Ezzor 43/26.
