Provinces, SANA – Army units on Sunday eliminated a number of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorists and injured others in several areas around the country.
Daraa
Army units destroyed Sunday morning a mortar lauch-pad and 5 vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in al-Noaima town and Daraa al-Balad, a military source told SANA.
Army strikes destroyed a command center for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in al-Arba’een neighborhood and 3 vehicles, one of which equipped with machinegun, a Van and a truck loaded with weapon at al-Sadd road.
On Saturday, an army unit eliminated, in a special operation, most members of a terrorist group and destroyed their mortar launch-pad in al-Noamia town some 4kms to the east of Daraa city.
Sweida
Army units destroyed five vehicles of ISIS terrorists in Rajem al-Dawleh and Tal Asfar areas in the northeastern countryside of Sweida southern province, the source said.
It clarified that three of the targeted vehicles were carrying tens of terrorists while the other two were SUV.
An army unit also destroyed a rocket launcher and three vehicles for ISIS terrorists in Mashbak al-Widyan area in the eastern countryside of Sweida.
Hama
Army units thwarted an attack by terrorist groups on a number of military posts in the northern countryside of Hama.
Army units clashed with terrorist groups from the so-called Jaish al-Ezza that attacked a number of military posts in the area surrounding al-Zalaqiyat village 30 kilometers to the northwest of Hama city.
The clashes ended by foiling the attack and killing a number of terrorists, injuring others and destroying their arms and ammunition.
Terrorist groups, most of whose members are foreign mercenaries who infiltrated through the Turkish borders, are active in areas between Hama and Idleb provinces.
Deir Ezzor
Sources on the ground told SANA that Army and Armed Forces units targeted with concentrated fire a munitions depot for ISIS terror organization in the surroundings of the Panorama area southwest of Deir Ezzor city, destroying the depot completely along with its contents.
