Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise nearing average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied by northwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy as local rain showers are expected over the northeastern and central areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of medium speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/07, Daraa 19/08, Homs 18/07, Hama 20/08, Hasaka 20/09, Lattakia 22/10, Aleppo 19/06 and Deir Ezzor 23/09.
