Provinces, SANA – The Syrian Arab Army continued on Monday carrying out counter-terrorism operations across the country, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their positions and dens.

Homs

A military source told SANA that the Syrian army air force destroyed two positions for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Teir Ma’ale, killing and injuring many of them.
The source added that the army air force carried out raids on ISIS terrorists’ gatherings and fortifications at Teloul al-Soud and Palmyra vicinity in the countryside of Homs province.

Hama

13 terrorists of Jaish al-Fateh killed

In the neighboring province of Hama,  the Syrian army air force carried out sorties on the fortifications and positions of the so called “Jaish al-Fateh” terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in the northwestern countryside of Hama province.

The air force strikes resulted in killing 13 of Jaish al-Fateh terrorists in al-Latamneh town and destroying a number of vehicles some of which equipped with machineguns in Kefr Zeita city, 38km away from Hama city.

Aleppo 

Units of the army, in cooperation with popular defense groups, clashed with terrorists from ISIS along Athria/Khanaser axis between Aleppo and Hama.

The clashes ended up with destroying 14 vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns and killing many of the mercenaries.

Lattakia

A military source announced today that the army, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control on al-Qamou and al-Kafr Sanad Mountains in addition to a number of strategic points to the north-east side of Lattakia after eliminating the last gatherings of terrorists in the region.

Deir Ezzor

65 ISIS terrorists killed during the last 24 hours 

Field sources confirmed the death of 65 terrorists from ISIS after fierce clashes that erupted between the army and a group of ISIS in al-Hamideya during the last 24 hours.

Earlier, an army unit destroyed a 40-meter-long tunnel which ISIS’ terrorists were using to store weapons and ammunition in al-Sinaa neighborhood in Deir Ezzor.
