Aleppo, SANA- Aleppo Industry Director Eng. Ma’an Jazbeh announced that the number of the industrial facilities currently operating in Aleppo reached about 3000 facilities in all sectors.
“These industrial facilities contribute to providing the needs of the local market, while their overproduction is exported abroad,” Jazbeh said in statement to SANA on Sunday.
He added, “In parallel with the achievements of the Syrian Arab Army in restoring stability and security to the industrial zones, Aleppo Industry Directorate, in cooperation and coordination with all sides in the province, works to insure resuming the work of the facilities in those areas.”
The number of the industrial facilities resuming production in al-Arqoub industrial area reached 480,while it reached 319 in al-Ramousa, 12 in al-Naqareen, 30 in Jabreen, 17 in Benyameen gathering, 31 in the airport gathering l al-Sheikh Said, 235 in al-Sheikh Najjar city in addition to hundreds of facilities in other areas, he made it clear.
Last year, 2065 large, medium and small industrial establishments resumed work and production in addition to hundreds of professional workshops which continue their work in safe areas to supply the local market with products and to provide citizens with their needs.
