Damascus, SANA- The temperatures remain around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of
the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the wind will be eastern to southeastern with light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/8, Aleppo19/8, Homs 19/7, Hama 20/5 and Lattakia 24/12.
