Beirut, SANA- Head of the “Expatriates Gathering for Syria” Omran al-khatib expressed the Gathering’s support to Syria in its war against the international terrorism, hailing its appreciation of the Syrian Arab Army’s sacrifices in facing the Takfiri terrorism.
A delegation from the Gathering, encompasses European activists and a group of global youths from 12 nationalities, among them politicians, analysts, journalists, artists and activists who are supporting Syria in facing terrorism,arrived in Beirut en route to Syria.
Meeting head of the Movement of Independent Nasserites (al-Murabitoun) Brigadier-General Mustafa Hamdan in Beirut on Monday, al-Khatib showed the delegation’s support to Syria, army and leadership and the Lebanese national resistance who are fighting the global terrorism on behalf of the free world.
Members of the delegation criticized the European governments’ erroneous policies towards Syria, particularly in France, Britain, and the US, which support terrorism and participate in the shedding of the Syrian blood.
For his part, Hamdan hailed the delegation’s stances in supporting the Lebanese national resistance and Syria in fighting the global terrorism, asserting that “we will triumph over terrorism not only for Syria, Lebanon and Arab countries, but for the whole humanity.”
He appreciated their important role in changing the European public opinion towards Syria and the national resistance.
Hamdan thanked Russia for supporting the Syrian Arab army in fighting the international terrorism, hailing the heroism of the Lebanese resistance in confronting terrorism.
