Damascus, SANA Temperatures remain around average or slightly higher as the country is still under the influence of a southeastern low air pressure accompanied by western wet air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected, in its Thursday bulletin, the skies are clear to partly cloudy in general, while it turns to be cloudy sometimes, rain showers are expected over the northern, coastal and central region.
The winds will be of light and moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of light amplitude, according to the department.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 28/17, Aleppo 28/15, Hama 28/16, Lattakia 29/18 and Homs 27/15.
On Friday, local rain showers expected in various areas across the country, temperatures will remain around average or slightly lower in most areas.
