Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain around average or slightly above as the country is under the influence of Indian seasonal low air pressure accompanied by southwesterly winds in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The expected temperatures in some major cities are: Damascus: 36/20, Aleppo: 36/19, Homs: 35/19 and Deir Ezzor: 39/22.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while it will be misty in the eastern and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be changeable but mostly northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea level is of low amplitude.
