Damascus, SANA – The three-day National Show Jumping Championship, held on the occasion of the Army Day marked on August 1st, wrapped up on Monday.
Mustafa Zindaki ranked first in the Grand Prix competitions, winning in a time of 50.92 seconds jumping over 140 cm high hurdles.
Zindaki was followed by Joudi Nizam who came in the second place in 54.06 seconds. Mohammad Jobarani ranked third in a time of 46.77 seconds.
Military parades were performed at the Championship’s closing ceremony. The parades featured many diverse performances showing the heroism of the personnel of the Syrian Arab army.
Head of the General Sports Federation Muwafaq Jum’a told SANA that the Championship was a success and was held in honor and appreciation of the army personnel who are courageously defending the homeland against the terrorist organizations.
