Damascus, SANA- Interior Minister Mohammad al-Shaar discussed on Wednesday with Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Syria Marianne Gasser the work of the organization in the country and facilitations offered by the Ministry to help it assume its humanitarian duties in Syria.
During the meeting, the Minister appreciated the efforts exerted by the international organization in the field of relief and humanitarian task, particularly delivering aid to the citizens where their regions came under sabotage acts by terrorist organizations.
He affirmed that the Syrian government will spare no effort to ensure the basic needs to its citizens.
Gasser, for her part, welcomed the efforts exerted by Syria in order to speedup procedures related to the task of ICRC, affirming ICRC will intensify the efforts to have relief operations in Syria succeed.
