Damascus, SANA-A child was killed on Monday and 5 citizens, among them 4 children, were wounded in a terrorist attack with mortar shells on a number of neighborhoods in Damascus.

A police source told SANA that a mortar shell, fired by terrorists, fell on al-Nihlawi Street in al-Amara old neighborhood, killing a child and wounding 4 others.

Meanwhile, another mortar shell which hit Bab Musala, caused only material damages to the place.
