Temperatures around average, skies clear to partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around or a little higher above average, as the country is affected by Indian seasonal superficial pressure accompanied by southwesterly currents in the upper layers of atmosphere.

Meteorology department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be clear and partly cloudy in general while it will be relatively hot in the eastern regions, al-Jazeera and al-Badia (semi-desert).

The winds will be westerly to southwesterly between low to moderate in speed in the central and southern regions, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/19, Homs 33 /20, Hama 35/23, Tartous 33/26, Aleppo 37/23, Lattakia 32/26.
