Syrian Embassy in Santiago holds virtual conference in cooperation with “Higher Language Institute” at Damascus University

Santiago, SANA- Syrian Embassy in the Chilean capital, Santiago, in cooperation with the University of Damascus, “Higher Institute of Languages”, held a virtual conference with participation of the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Chile.

Dean of the Language Institute, Dr. Ali Al-Lahham, gave a presentation on the programs offered by the Institute and the opportunities available to the official and popular bodies wishing to cooperate with Damascus University to learn the Arabic language.

In this regard, the Catholic University of Chile submitted a set of inquiries and suggestions related to the development of cooperation with Damascus University

Director of the Arab School in Santiago pointed out the importance of Syria as a cultural destination, and the extent to which Syria holds as a country that has a cultural heritage on a global level.

The conference was attended by a group of ambassadors accredited to Chile, especially Spanish-speaking countries, in addition to representatives of the most important universities and educational academies in Chile, and Syrian expatriate institutions.
