Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov renewed in a phone call Saturday with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, that Russia condemned the Israeli attack that targeted the Iranian consulate building in Damascus.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that both sides talked in the phone call on the situation in the Middle East, as the Russian side once again stressed its strong condemnation of the Israeli air strike on the Iranian consular office in Damascus.
The statement pointed out that it was also emphasized that any attacks on diplomatic and consular facilities whose inviolability is guaranteed by the relevant Vienna Conventions are absolutely unacceptable, as are political murders.
