Abdollahian calls on Islamic countries to take serious actions to end genocide in Gaza

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has called on Islamic countries to take serious actions to end the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians in Gaza.

IRNA News Agency quoted Abdollahian during his meeting with Secretary-General of Islamic Cooperation Organization in Jeddah, Hussein Ibrahim Taha as saying “The Palestinian cause is the pivotal and main cause of the Islamic world, and the organization must exert more effective efforts to end the war crimes committed against the oppressed Palestinian people, especially the humanitarian catastrophic situation in Gaza, as quickly as possible”.

Abdollahian underlined the importance of the meeting that will be held by the organization in coincides with the exacerbating catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.

He also underscored the necessity of taking effective actions by the Islamic countries participating in this meeting, in addition to taking strong steps to end this brutal genocide.
