Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Palestinian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the Israeli occupation is committing genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip, and is using internationally prohibited weapons in light of a feverish starvation campaign and cutting off supplies and basic needs from defenseless civilians in the ugliest forms of collective punishment.
Wafa News Agency quoted the Foreign Ministry as saying on a statement on Wednesday that it condemned the crimes committed by the Israeli war mechanism by using internationally banned weapons, including phosphorus, cluster, and others, against the people of Gaza Strip.
The Ministry pointed out that those crimes affect everything and have so far led to the martyrdom of 1,055 and 5,184 wounded, and they are increasing rapidly.
In addition, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been displaced from their houses, as huge numbers of houses, buildings, institutions and facilities have been either partially or completely demolished.
The crimes of killing, destruction, and displacement mean that the occupation is committing the crime of genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip in light of a frenzied starvation campaign and cutting off supplies and basic needs of electricity, water, medicine, fuel, and others from defenseless civilians in the ugliest forms of collective punishment, the Ministry noted.
