Syrian-Russian Peace Center inaugurated in Sahnaya, Damascus Countryside

Damascus Countryside, SANA- Syrian-Russian Peace Center affiliated with the Syrian-Russian Peace Initiative was inaugurated in Ashrafiyat Sahnaya in Damascus countryside.

The inauguration ceremony included honoring 50 families of the martyrs and wounded, and a number of outstanding students.

The new center provides various artistic, cultural, musical, sporting and educational activities, including courses to teach the Russian language to the children of martyrs and wounded in the Syrian Arab Army.

Deputy Commander of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, Rear Admiral Vadim Collet, pointed out in a statement to journalist the importance of the Syrian-Russian Peace Educational Center in supporting and honoring the children of the martyrs and the wounded, providing aid and support to people, and teaching the Russian language to those who benefit from the center’s services.

In turn, Head of the Syrian-Russian Peace Initiative, Dr. Ahmed al-Koud, noted that the center is considered a starting point for the opening of educational and medical centers affiliated with the initiative in various governorates.
