Egyptian Foreign Minister: Solution to crisis in Syria would be through dialogue

Moscow, SANA-Egyptian Foreign Minister Samih Shukri on Thursday called for solving the crisis in Syria through dialogue.

“Solution to the crisis in Syria should be reached according to the international law, dialogue and in light of preserving Syrian sovereignty,” Shukri said in an interview with Russia Today TV.

He added that combating terrorism is the duty of the international community as a whole, not of some coalitions, in reference to Washington coalition, affirming “there is a double standard policy in dealing with issue of terror.”

Minister Shukri hailed Russia’s stances in support of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinians’ right to establish their independent state.
