Damascus, SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, discussed on Monday with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths aspects of mutual cooperation between Syria and the UN agencies concerned in the humanitarian issue to face impacts of the earthquake that hit Syria a week ago.
The two sides stressed the necessity to guarantee the delivery of humanitarian aid to all Syrians without any discrimination and to all Syrian regions.
They called on UN member countries to support the efforts exerted to help the Syrians overcome that catastrophe away from politicization in line with Syrian sovereignty.
