Temperature to rise, clear and partly cloudy weather

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to slightly rise, yet remain from 3 to 5 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western currents in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected, in its Sunday bulletin, that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while it will be very cold at night in most areas, warning against formation of fog during the night and ice during the early morning.

The winds will be westerly to northwesterly with low speed, and the sea waves will be low in  height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:  in Damascus  12/ 0,     Aleppo 11/0, Homs 9/-1, Lattakia 15/ 8, Tartous 13/7.
