Bratislava, SANA- The US military presence in Syria is illegitimate and represents a flagrant violation of international law, Member of the European Parliament for Slovakia, head of the Republican Party, Milan Uhrík affirmed.
“The Americans are not satisfied with occupying part of Syrian territory, but rather they are stealing oil and natural resources,” Uhrík said in a post on his website.
He added “when will an embargo and sanctions be imposed on US oil products and officials due to their practices that violate international laws.”
Uhrík stressed that the world will not be a peaceful place if the international law is not respected and its provisions are not adhered to by Western countries, on top the US.
