DONETSK, SANA- Ukrainian forces shelled the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) 27 times in the past 24 hours, firing 115 shells and rockets, the DPR mission to the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) on issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes reported.
“Over the past 24 hours, the mission reported 27 episodes of shelling from Ukrainian armed units,” the mission wrote on its Telegram channel on Sunday.
HIMARS and Grad multiple launch rocket launchers were used, as well as 152mm and 155mm artillery weapons. A total of 115 shells and missiles were fired at residential neighborhoods in the republic.
Nine DPR settlements came under fire: Donetsk, Gorlovka, Novobakhmutovka, Yasinovataya, Yakovlevka, Krasny Partizan, Kashtanovoye, Makeevka, and Ilovaisk.
No casualties among the civilians were reported, the mission said. In the previous 24 hours, 24 shelling episodes were reported.
