KPA holds South Korea responsible for stirring up tension in the Korean Peninsula

Pyongyang, SANA- The situation on the Korean peninsula is getting worse due to the enemies’ repeated military provocations in the forefront area, spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) said on Wednesday.

“The enemies should immediately stop the reckless and inciting provocations escalating the military tension in the forefront area” the spokesman said in a statement.

“The KPA General Staff took an especially serious note of the provocative moves committed at a time when “Hoguk 22”, the enemy’s war drillagainst the north, is going on in a frantic manner.

In order to send a serious warning once again, it made sure that KPA units on the east and west fronts conducted a threatening, warning fire toward the east and west seas in the night of Oct. 18, as a powerful military countermeasure” he noted.
