Muscat, SANA – Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said ,Sultan of Oman, asserted his country’s firm stance in support of Syria, underlining the importance of respecting the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Omani Sultan, receiving the credentials of Dr. Idris Mayya as the new Ambassador of Syria to Oman, conveyed his regards to President al-ssad, wishing the Syrian people continued progress and prosperous.
For his part, Mayya affirmed that the Sultanate, people ad leadership, holds a special place in the heart of Syrians who highly appreciate its principled stances since the beginning of the terrorist war been waged against it, and conveying President al-Assad greetings to Sultan Haitham and his wishes to the brotherly Omani people continued success.
