Syria expresses its sincere condolences and solidarity with Venezuela over heavy rains victims

Damascus, SANA- Syria voices its sincere condolences and full solidarity with Venezuelan government and people over the death of dozens of citizens in Aragua State following heavy rains, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in statement.

“Syrians extend condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery”, the ministry added.

The ministry went on to say: “Syria expresses its confidence in the ability of Venezuela to overcome impacts of this tragedy and affirms its support to the Venezuela’s exerted efforts to alleviate these impacts.

“On this occasion, Syria reiterates calling on the U.S. to lift unilateral coercive measures imposed on friendly Venezuelan people,” the ministry concluded.
