Damascus, SANA- The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior called upon the drivers to drive carefully and to use fog lights, check the brakes and reduce speed due to the current weather conditions in all the provinces.
In its Friday bulletin, the Department indicated that all roads in Damascus Countryside are open except the road to Yabroud area and its surrounding are hardly passable due to the snow and the formation of ice. All roads in Qatana are passable except the road of Henah- Erneh, Durbul, Ein al-Sha’ra Kurbet al-Souda, and the road of al-Rimeh Bqa’sam -Erneh are closed for traffic due to the accumulation of snow.
In Hama, all main roads are passable except the roads of Shatha- Jaubet Burghal, jourin-Sulunfa are closed due the snow and the formation of fog. Naher al-Bared- Beit Yashout road and Ein al-Kroum- al-Qarandah raod are is hardly open due to the ice.
In Lattakia, all main and sub-roads are open except the road of Aleppo-al-Knaisat site, Slenfeh- broadcast station and Slenfeh-al-Ghab, Markiye Maqamat Bani Hashem and al-Qarandah-al-Ghab are hardly open due to snow.
