Cairo, SANA – President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi stressed that the crisis in Syria should be resolved through political means away from military solutions.
In an interview with the Russian news agency Sputnik on Wednesday, President el-Sisi also highlighted the need to preserve the unity and integrity of the Syrian territories, adding “we must admit that there are terrorist and extremist groups in Syria and these groups will spread abroad if they’re not dealt with.”
“We are committed to clear and specific principles on the importance of soling the crisis politically and away of any military interference,” he said.
