People’s Assembly congratulates journalists on Syrian Press Day

Damascus, SANA- People’s Assembly Speaker Hammoudeh Sabbagh, on behalf of the MPs and the Assembly’s office, has congratulated the Union of Syrian Journalists and those working in the media sector in all types of the printed, audio and visual media on the occasion of the Syrian Press Day, which is celebrated on August 15^th.

In a statement, Sabbagh expressed his confidence in the leading national role of the national press, including its media, educational and educative role in its various institutions, types and forms, and the persistence of workers in this important sector on continuing the development of journalistic work as one of the pillars of the process of recovery, reconstruction and building a new and renewable Syria.
