Russian MoD: 3 Ukrainian fighters and 8 Ukrainian drones downed

Moscow, SANA- The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian army shot down 3 Ukrainian fighters and 8 drones in one day, and with the use of high-precision and long-range missiles, it destroyed a large depot of missiles, artillery shells and weapons sent to Ukraine by the US and European states.

Spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, said in a press briefing today that a large depot of anti-tank missile systems, portable anti-aircraft missiles and artillery shells of weapons systems sent by the US and European countries to Ukraine were destroyed.

Konashenkov said that during the past 24 hours, high-precision air missiles targeted two command centers and 15 sites for mobilizing Ukrainian manpower and combat equipment.

Konashenkov added that operational and tactical aviation targeted 3 command centers and 25 sites for mobilizing manpower and combat equipment, and was able to eliminate about 150 Ukrainian Nazi elements and destroyed 6 tanks, 5 field guns and 10 special vehicles of various models.

According to Konashenkov, the Russian anti-aircraft defense forces downed two Ukrainian Su-25 fighters and 8 drones in several regions

He added that the missile and artillery forces destroyed 248 manpower mobilization sites and combat equipment, 21 command centers and 37 artillery emplacements.
