Ukrainian forces mined railway facilities as they withdrew from the Donbass regions

Kyiv, SANA-The Russian RIA Novosti Agency reported that the Ukrainian forces, while withdrawing from the population centers in Donbass, booby-trapped and mined the railways and the intersection stations of these railways, as well as the roads adjacent to them, with the aim of preventing or impeding the advance of the forces of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

The agency stated that the engineering personnel of the Luhansk forces are currently working to clear these mines that the Ukrainian forces have deployed on the railway line leading to Slavyansk on the border between the Lugansk People’s Republic and the Kharkov Province.

The Ukrainian army, during its withdrawal, destroyed some parts of the railway and booby-trapped some places and camouflaged them, as many unexploded anti-armor shells and mines were found in that area, according to the agency.

On the other hand, a source at the Russian Security Service announced that the Security Service revealed the activities of a closed network of Ukrainian intelligence in the territories from which Kyiv forces withdrew to direct the bombing that targets the Russian military.
