Russian forces destroy 19 Ukrainian military sites and large quantities of Western weapons

Moscow, SANA-The Russian forces destroyed 19 Ukrainian military sites and large quantities of Western weapons in the framework of the special military operation to protect the residents of Donbass.

“High-precision missiles fired by the Russian Air Force destroyed weapons and military equipment delivered from the United States and Western countries to the Ukrainian forces in the Soledar region, In addition, 19 points for military forces and equipment were targeted in the Chuchev region, as well as 6 weapons caches.” Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing on Sunday.

Konashenkov added that the Russian aviation targeted 54 assembly areas for personnel and military equipment, killed about 380 Nazis and damaged 38 military vehicles, adding that the Russian missile forces destroyed an Osa air defense system in the Nikolaev region, the Smerch missile launch system in the Soledar region, and a radar station in the vicinity of the village of Velikia Koreniha.

Konashenkov said that the Russian air defense systems shot down a Turkish-made Bayraktar TV2 unmanned drones in the region of Zmiinyi Island , and a Sukhoi-25 aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force near the village of Bogonova.
