Temperatures below average, showers expected over different areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain from 3 to 6 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied in the upper layers of atmosphere.

The skies will be partly cloudy in general with a chance for showers accompanied by thunderstorms over different areas, while the skies will be misty and dusty over the eastern and al-Badia regions, Meteorology Department said in its Friday bulletin.

The wind will be westerly of moderate speed with active gusts exceeding 75 km per hour southwesterly in the southern regions, sometimes causing dust in some inland areas, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude

The expected temperatures in some Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 21/11, Daraa 21/12, Homs 18/12, Hasaka 22/12, Tartous 21/17, Aleppo 21/11, Deir Ezzor 25/14.
