Putin discusses developments of special operation in Ukraine with Russian security council

Moscow, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation (SCRF), the latest developments of the special military operation in Ukraine.

Russia Today website quoted Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying that Defense Minister Sergey breifed the meeting on the progress achieved so far in the special military operation, providing humanitarian assistance to civilians, ensuring security and restoring vital infrastructure work in the liberated territories.

Peskov noted that during the meeting, issues related to how to deal with US and Western sanctions were discussed, and the progress of the negotiation process with Ukraine was considered in detail as the participants expressed regret for the procrastination on the Ukrainian side.
