Antonov: Supplying Kyiv regime with weapons an extremely dangerous act

Washington, SANA- The Russian Ambassador in Washington, Anatoly Antonov, has warned the United States and its allies of the dangers of pumping weapons and sending foreign mercenaries to Ukraine, and the threat this poses to European and global security.

“The supplying Kyiv regime with weapons and the sending foreign mercenaries is an extremely irresponsible and dangerous act, as the militarization of Ukraine directly threatens European and global security.” Antonov said in a statement today.

He added “Arms are being transferred to Ukraine due to the arbitrary interpretation of national export control laws by the authorities of Western countries and licenses are often approved in a simplified system and as a result a large part of weapons ends up in the hands of bandits, Nazis, terrorists and criminals.”

“Does the West not really realize that head-cutters who came from all over the world to Europe, after gaining combat experience in Ukraine, can later apply it anywhere, and when they return to their homelands?” the Ambassador wondered.

“Western leaders do not understand the dangers of proliferation of missiles and weapons that were transferred to the Ukrainian armed forces via the European Union and their subsequent use against civil aviation,” Antonov said.
